The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to the community.

SASSA might be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it can be alarmed with regards to the large number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office committed to service the area regularly. The services level made for intervention ordeals a superior inflow of opportunity SRD beneficiaries, that makes it tricky with the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In SRD this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more resources to help the servicing of all prospects and maximize usage of Social Assistance expert services,” sassa status check the agency said.
